@jimmyfallon 1973 Ford Pinto. Bought it used in 1980. The acceleration cable disconnected while driving 80mph on the freeway. Sudden change in speed. The stick shift coming off at a stop sign while changing gears. Great times. #MyWorstCar

I had a 1979 Malibu. I got pulled over. The driver door only opened from the outside. But the window crank fell off and I couldn't get it back on to open the window or door. I attempted climbing out the passenger side over my friend but the cop told me to get back in

@jimmyfallon #myworstcar In college I had a ‘77 Gremlin. Someone bashed out the back window and the heater and defroster broke. I drove it for 2 years with a garbage bag duct taped to the back window and used a credit card to scrape the ice off the windshield. My next car was a Benz!

@jimmyfallon My car broke down first week of freshman year of college. My dad gave me his to drive- black 79 Bonneville 4 door with red pinstripes license ANGUS1 (cattle) I felt like I was driving a small boat to work and could never find a spot to park the beast in #myworstcar

#MyWorstCar was also my favourite:

98 VW Jetta TDI, in rust bucket white.

Loved driving her, but when the rust gremlins would strike, my wallet loathed her.

She had a personality & soul to me though

I have the VW emblem off her front bumper, as a memento of the good times.

#MyWorstCar was my 1st car, a '72 Super Beetle I bought in college with proceeds of a student loan. Was living and going to college in FL - no a/c. Gas gauge non-functional so ran out often. And floorboard so rusted that the battery (under the rear bench) bumped on speed bumps.
