New User Features

Version/revision saves a copy of a post every time you edit it, allows you to view (not edit) each of those copies (revisions), Shows forward (in time) diffs between any two revisions.
Display captions of images alongside them in posts and pages.
Add paging of Themes in Design panel
Word Count displayed when writing and editing posts and pages
Press This bookmarklet
Add sorting to gallery
Export/import post excerpts
Theme Previewer
Check (assigned) Categories at top Category box in Write/Manage Post

Two categories can have sub-categories with the same name

I really like the new Theme preview. Now when you select a theme it pops up a window that shows the theme live with all your content, instead of immediately making it active on your site. This is great for just test driving themes before making a switch over publicly, and it is also helpful when you are developing a theme and need to test it but don’t want everybody to see your ongoing development.

I have read on other blogs, thats its very important to update the newest version of Wordpress, because Hackers have more chance to attack a blog without an update.

Hey thanks for the post and video. I have been hesitant to update cause I didn’t know for sure what the updates were that they did. So thanks for posting about it. ~ Jeremy Newton
