New Toolbar Pagerank Update is Coming

Matt Cutts from mattcutts.com has written that the new Pagerank update is coming in the next days.
Matt Cutts works for the quality group in Google, specializing in search engine optimization issues. He is well known in the SEO community for enforcing the Google Webmaster Guidelines and cracking down on link spam. Cutts also advised the public on how to get better website visibility in Google.
The last PageRank update, some month ago was the first for this blog and I get a great PageRank of 3. I think that a PageRank of 3 is good for the first update and I really hope that I get a PageRank of 4 at the next update.
Here I have written that I´m really happy to get the PageRank 3.
Here is the description of the Google Toolbar’s PageRank if you dont know what the PageRank is:
The Google Toolbar’s PageRank feature displays a visited page’s PageRank as a whole number between 0 and 10. The most popular websites have a PageRank of 10. The least have a PageRank of 0. Google has not disclosed the precise method for determining a Toolbar PageRank value. Google representative Matt Cutts has publicly indicated that the Toolbar PageRank values are republished about once every three months, indicating that the Toolbar PageRank values are historical rather than real-time values.

Unfortunately I saw the PR of my blog drop from 3 to 2. But then again I had been slacking in promotion and maintenance over the last three to six months as well.

I am really looking forward to the next update, I have spent countless hours building backlingks and SEO, and it will be interesting to see if it all pays off.
Nowadays it seems a lot of people think PageRank is over-rated, but personally I think it have a major impact on SERPs
