Microsoft is Buying Google?

I just heard on the news that Microsoft is Buying Google. Now I admit I didn’t catch the whole thing but that will have a huge impact on the internet if it is real. I am still sitting here kind of confused because it is unbelievable and for 44 billion. Well what is this going to mean for the search engine market, advertising, and publishers? Will it be business as usual or will there be changes coming? I guess we will just have to see. Okay, I just did a little searching and it is Yahoo that Microsoft has offered to buy. That really makes more sense and is more believable but it is still significant. I wonder what that would make MS share of the search engine market?
