Thoughts is a great free service. You can sign up for free and create very easy your own Free Blog or personal online journal in some minutes. At www.thoughts.com, you are able to create a completely free blog where you can share your thoughts with family, friends and other members. You can do so much with your blog, for example you can upload photos, videos and podcasts. You can chat in the community forums at thoughts.com and bookmark the latest news. You can decide if your blog post is public, private or only for friends. If you choose to public your posts you can see the latest blog posts of all blogs at the startpage of Thoughts. And the best is you have free unlimited bandwidth.
Thoughts has an own search engine on the top right which searches for blogs, people, photos, videos, podcasts, news and the web.
Posting at thoughts is a good way to promote things, because many other people see what you write if you have choosen public and you dont need to promote your thoughts.com blog. I think thats makes thoughts.com differant than other blog sites.

What are the advantages of this (if any) over blogspot and wordpress? Honestly, free blog services are fine for kids, but anyone who wants to take blogging seriously should have their own hosted blog (powered by wordpress), as it’s the only real way to long term blogging success.

Thanks for the information I have found most of this very useful. I just started my internet business about 6 months ago, it was slow going at first but the more I learn the further I am getting. I was just able to quit my job thanks to information that I have found on blog’s like yours and for that I thank you.
For everyone else looking to start an internet business all you need is the right information and you will do very well it took me a while but the more I searched the more information I found that was useful.

You are correct to ask the advantages of this over other types of blogging platforms. What most I.M. beginners don’t know is that the hosted formats, such as blogspot and wordpress, aren’t as SEO or traffic friendly as having a blog hosted on your own domain. When you have more control over what can appear on the blog (like eliminating Adsense ads, for example) you are better able to direct the attention of your visitors to those opportunities you wish for them to see. That, in turn, can help to increase your site’s conversions, and hence your success!

I love the idea behind this blog. I just stumbled upon this and now its bookmarked. I will be here more offten if im not working all the time. You can cheak out what I do off this blog. So many great items. Thought I would throw that in. But otherwise I just want to explore more of this so far so good blog. I have so many ideas and not many to share them with.
